This is definitely a show you DON”T WANT TO MISS because there’s just something about “Old School Nickelodeon” that touched the hearts of a generation. We each lovingly donated 30 minutes of our childhood each week to shows like Salute Your Shorts, Doug, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, and Hey Arnold! And, given the option, would happily continue to do so through adulthood. The “big guys” at Nickelodeon during the 1990’s had the truly remarkable talent of stepping back into childhood and creating lovably quirky characters that we could all somehow relate to. Characters that continue to affect our generation well into college—the inspiration of hundreds of Halloween costumes and powerhours—characters that we would all love to see again.

Listen to the cast of this NRT production to learn more about this William Shakespeare classic story of love, mischief and enchantment.
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" is one of the greatest comedy plays by William Shakespeare. The play revolves around the adventures of four young lovers, a group of amateur actors and their interactions with the fairies who inhabit a moonlit forest. The story takes place in Midsummer and is a complex farce featuring Hermia & Lysander and Helena & Demetrius. Their romantic intrigues are confused and complicated still further by entering the forest where Oberon, the King of the Fairies and his Queen, Titania, preside. Puck (or Robin Goodfellow) is a major character who is full of mischief and tricks. Other visitors to the enchanted forest include Bottom the weaver and his friends Snug, Snout, Quince and Flute, the amateur dramatists who want to rehearse their terrible but hilarious version of the play Pyramus and Thisbe.

Come see NRT's stage adaptation of the film "South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut" by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. ALL music is intact (and expanded to be played by a live pit)
When four boys from the quiet mountain town of South Park see a Canadian Film, they pick up some of the foul language used by the actors. Their outraged parents begin a protest against Canada that escalates to the kidnapping of Terrance and Phillip and an eventual declaration of war between the US and Canada. Such a war would be the final sign in an ancient prophecy that would allow Satan (and his lover, Saddam Hussein) to rise from hell and rule the earth. It seems it's up to the kids of South Park to rescue Terrance and Phillip and save the world.

What is it? Well...
At 8 pm on Friday a group of performers, writers, and directors will get together be broken up into teams and then they will write, rehearse, and eventually perform a play all within 24 hours!!!
All they will be given is a word in which the play must revolve around, but it can literally go in any direction.
In 2007 the word was "affair." What resulted was a show about "affairs" and a show about "a fair."
In 2008 the word was "Free." We had a show about an escaped convict, inmates in an asylum, and a freelance super hero who indeed worked for Free. Come see what we come up with this year!!!
